This year is off to a great start. I’m so thankful for the opportunities that have been coming my way, and it’s only January!
It’s almost everyone’s resolution or goal to save money when the new year comes around. And why not? It’s important we save for a rainy day, a vacation, whatever have you. As a mom, I think saving is a valuable lesson that we are responsible to teach our children. We are very fortunate to be living in the land of the free, let’s not take that for granted.
What better way to start saving in the new year than in our own home, more specifically, the kitchen. Thanks to San Diego Bargain Mama, I shared some tips on San Diego 6 in the Morning with Heather Myers on how to be a savvy shopper. On a side note, this segment has been one of the top 4 videos viewed on Spend Less TV, it just goes to show that families are looking for more ways to save.
For the full breakdown of the comparison, read the article following the segment in my column on San Diego Bargain Mama here. I share a list of tips on how you can save and avoid paying for convenience in the grocery store.
And, if your mouth is watering because of the beef stew featured in the segment, get the recipe here.
Enjoy!
