Fall is my favorite time of the year. It used to be summer because I love warm weather, but fall brings a comfort for me like no other season in the year. The cool air helps us breath a little easier and the cold breeze invites more opportunities to stay in and cuddle under a warm blanket. Pumpkins flood our homes and the kitchen becomes a place of abundance. Families gather to give thanks. Children and adults alike are encouraged to play dress up, eat candy and run amuck in the streets! Night falls a little earlier and we reap the harvest.
There are so many exciting traditions that come with fall. From jumping into a pile of leaves to visiting your favorite pumpkin patch. Because we don’t want you to miss a thing, my family and I created a family-friendly fall bucket list featuring 20 things you can do to enjoy the coolest season of the year. Enjoy!

I love this list! Creating memories with my family means so much to us and there are so many things to do in the fall that it would be a shame not to take advantage of it.

I love fall festivals! We just moved to a new state and I’m dying to find one near us. I’m also in desperate need of some new fall scented candles. My husband and I love having candles in our home.

Yes, Keating! I am all about scented candles. I need to pick some up. Cinnamon apple is one of my favorite smells this time of year.

Thanks, Crystal. It was a fun activity for our family. My daughter was learning about apples at school so she was really excited about putting apple picking on the list…now that I think about it, I can’t remember if I wrote it down specifically, but we will be doing it in Julian which is on the list. #badmom

Thanks, Jamie. We finally went to Julian a few weekends ago, but I think we left a bit too late. When we got there things were closing and the best pies were already sold out. I guess we have an excuse to go again, lol!
