This year marks the 7th anniversary of Dance & Company Performing Arts Studio! To celebrate they’re offering free highlighted classes to all current students and the entire community from Monday, August 8 through Saturday, August 13! This is a great opportunity for families to try out new classes, meet instructors and bring a friend to class. The festivities will end with a fun Open House on Saturday, August 13 from 2 – 3 pm. I love the story behind Dance & Company. Not only is the studio owned and operated by a strong mother-daughter duo, Lisa Lewis and Katie Collins, but they opened their doors right when the economy was plummeting. It was a risk, but one worth taking. Now they have a tight knit dance community of over 200 students! They have done so much to help build awareness of the benefits of dance and fitness as well as provide classes for dancers with special needs. They really do care about their students and provide them with the tools they need to be well-rounded individuals.
We are so proud to be a part of this dance family. Over the past four years we’ve had the pleasure of watching the studio and the students grow. My daughter has come a long way since her first class herself; and the relationships we’ve built during our time there are priceless.
You’re Invited
With that said, on behalf of Dance & Company we invite you to join us for this week long celebration. There will be lots of fun prizes, light bites, refreshments and more importantly a variety of classes for you to try all week. Classes are available for all ages starting at 2 years old. Adult fitness and dance classes are available as well. Moms and dads, don’t let your kids have all the fun, join them! Grab a friend and try one, or two, or three classes!
