You know your child is ready for potty training when…
- She sits on her little pink toilet, even with her pants and diaper on
- Makes a grunting noise, as if she’s pushing (don’t know where she got that idea from)
- Stands up, gets some toilet paper and wipes her butt, still with pants and diaper on
I’ve read enough articles about how to know when children are ready. But…
Could it be? Is Pinky ready to be potty trained? Grandma and Grandpa bought her a princess potty pan for her birthday and it’s been sitting in our bathroom, anxiously awaiting the day it will be used…properly! Pinky uses it as a stool, to house her toys and to sit on while she waits for Mommy! But recently, she attempted to use it for it’s purpose, which tells me so many things! She is watching me and copying my actions, she is understanding the concept of using the toilet and, she just might be ready for potty training. The question is, am I?
Stay tuned for more milestones with Pinky!
