According to the Alzheimer’s Association, “Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer’s disease and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this devastating disease.”
Last year my family started a tradition in honor of two grandmothers in our family who have been deeply affected by Alzheimer’s Disease. We vowed to participate in the annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s, previously called the Memory Walk, each year. This month the walk is being held in beautiful Coronado, CA on April 30th – registration is at 3pm and the walk begins at 4pm.
We hope you will support us as we Walk to End Alzheimer’s. We are Team Memory Keepers and anyone is welcome to join! If you’re interested in walking or making a tax-deductible monetary donation a please click here.
Thank you for your support, from our family to yours! XOXO!
Daddy
This is dedicated to our grandmothers currently experiencing this disease. We don’t walk for obligation but for the love that we have for them.
