Happy 15 Months to my little girl! Although you’re growing so fast, I can still call you “little!” It’s these moments that I cherish, actually I’ll cherish them all, but this time goes by so quickly. Your first few years…I take that back your first few months, even days you have been ever changing and growing into your own person. These are the times I wish I had an internal video camera to capture everything you do so Daddy and I can watch later in our old age! The times you clench onto my pant leg, or run and bury your face between my knees, the times you look up and call me Mama. I cherish them all.
Being a Mommy is tough, but at the end of the day, you always put me in my place! I love you more than you’ll ever know, Pinky. My mom, Grandma always writes that in my cards, I never understood it until I had you. One day you’ll understand too!
You make Mommy and Daddy so proud, Pinky! You are full of life, energy, love, mischief, curiosity and more. You are the perfect blend of imperfection (mommy and daddy)! My prayer to God is that He will guide both Daddy and me to be the best parents and best role models we can be…to nurture your God-given talents, to raise you by the way of the word and not of this world, to love you so much that you never have to turn to any superficial thing or being, to empower you to make good decisions, to be a good citizen with a powerful voice, to be able to protect yourself physically, mentally and spiritually, to be ready to give you away when you find true love, and to ensure you are a lover of the Lord and follower of His will!
I have much to say, but I’ll end with this…since you enjoy watching old episodes of Glee in the middle of the night with your parentals!
“You can’t always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, well you just might find, you get what you need!” -Rolling Stones
We got what we wanted and needed in you! Just know that there will be times when we as parents won’t be able to give you everything you want, but we promise to always give you what you need! We love you, Pinky! Happy 15 months! Cheers to many more months of happiness, stress, and anxiety! Hey, I’m just being honest, and taking it one month at a time!
Love,
Mommy (and Daddy)

Awww…thanks so much Auntie! It means a lot. We can’t take all the cred…God is so good and all of Pinky’s Aunties, Uncles, Grandparents, have contributed to her development in some way. Thank you, my most loyal reader 🙂 Love YOU!
