Finally, Pinky enjoys riding in her Bugaboo! I was always worried that we’d never put any mileage on that very expensive piece of baby equipment. Here she is last Thursday on our way into Barnes & Noble for storytime! I usually just carry her in and let her run a muck in the store. On this day I was walking towards the store, turned around and said what’ the heck…let’s give it another try! Thank God I did because I would have never found out that she now loves her Bugaboo so much that she now knows how to climb in and out of it. We even got to take a decent walk today without her trying to escape every five minutes. I’m so proud of my little Pinky! I’m looking forward to what other things we can do now that she enjoys being pushed around!
On another note, Pinky also had a baby sign language breakthrough. She started signing “please”. She needs some more practice, but nonetheless, she got it. One last thing, I could have sworn I heard her say “c’mon” right after I said it, in the same tone and everything. It was so cute. She didn’t actually say it of course, but the tone of her baby talk mimicked what I said so well. We think she’s going to be an early talker! Don’t know if that’s a good thing or a bad thing! Oh boy!
