Judy Moody and the NOT Bummer Summer comes out this Friday, June 10th! Click here for the movie trailer. We were lucky enough to get some tickets to the premier, compliments of San Diego Bargain Mama, which was held last Saturday, June 4th, . I sent Pinky’s Auntie Amber (aka Tia Locita) and my little cousin Michelle Angela who is in the 6th grade to watch the movie. Michelle had read a few of the Judy Moody books so I knew she’d be thrilled about seeing the movie before any of her friends. Michelle was so excited, and so was Amber! They got in line at the theater really early to ensure they got a seat. According to Michelle, Judy Moody posters were being handed out along with Yum Yum donuts. Mmmm…
In addition, to scoring tickets to the premier of Judy Moody, I was actually asked to interview the Author of the Judy Moody series, Megan McDonald, and Star of the movie, Jordana Beatty this week! I recently found out that my interview will be one on one, so I am super excited to meet both McDonald and Beatty up close and personal! As Amber mentions in her video review below, they will also be making an appearance this Friday at the opening of the San Diego County Fair!
