Do you suffer from dry skin or eczema? Are you in the market for a natural moisturizer? As a first time mom, I am very cautious about keeping my hands clean. As you can imagine, or have experienced, this leads to very dry hands, very quickly. Although eczema doesn’t run in our immediate families, Pinky somehow contracted a small case of it under her neck and behind her little knees. So you can bet I was ecstatic when I was presented with the opportunity to write a review about my experience using Skin MD.

Skin MD claims to be super hydrating and non-greasy while helping prevent dry skin and shield sensitive skin.
My Experience
The feature I loved most about Skin MD was the fact that it really is NATURAL! It is hypoallergenic, free of fragrances, parabens and colorants; and it’s made with more than 90% natural ingredients and 100% food-grade ingredients that are on the FDA’s “most safe” list. When I got the product I wanted to try it on every inch of my body. My problem areas, embarrassing enough are my feet. Although, it was hydrating at first I didn’t get the results I was hoping for. I do believe that if I continue to use it consistently I might see better results. I also used the lotion on my 15 month old daughter. Her skin is very soft and sensitive, so it means a lot that I was willing to try Skin MD out on her. Again, it helped hydrate, however the eczema spots under her neck are still lightly visible. I think the problem also lies in the location of the eczema. Because moisture builds under her neck when she sweats, it may be a while before it’s completely gone.
In all honesty, Skin MD Natural Shielding lotion really does hydrate at first touch. The lotion has a lot of reach which means it will last a long time. Daddy pointed out that it is a but is a bit watery, but I didn’t mind this much. It is extremely non-greasy which allowed me to use it on my face. I used the product mainly on my hands and this is where I found it to be most beneficial. My hands have been feeling extra smooth and they look rejuvenated, I kid you not, since I started using the product. They now seem to have a natural glow! Overall, I will definitely continue to use this product and recommend it to my friends and family as an option for treating dry skin. I’m giving this product a 1.5 Pinky Up (out of 2)!
Pros & Cons, just to reiterate
The Pros of Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion are that it is hypoallergenic, it is non-greasy and it really helps keep your skin hydrated. You can use it anywhere on your body and it’s safe enough for your baby’s bottom!
The Cons of Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion are that you have to reapply during the day, then again, what lotion do you not reapply!? Although the lotion goes a long way, the 4oz bottle is a little small for the price (below).

If you really love it, you can purchase a gallon! Because this product is natural and a little goes a long way, I’d say the price is fairly reasonable. It could be about $1-2 cheaper, but we must remember you get what you pay for. I think this is a quality product. So buy it, try it and let us know what you think. when i first tried this lotion it seemed really dry, but then an hour later it had my hands nice and smooth
I could use this because my hands get very rough from working in my garden.

Love to try new products, and I keep hearing great things about this one.
This is the first time I’m hearing about this product. I definitely like to try new products but this product in particular seems like a must as my family has a history of having issues with eczema/extremely & severe dry skin. Specifically my daughter and sister would definitely benefit from testing out this product.
I would love to try this! I have read many great reviews regarding the line of products.
