Oh where, oh where can it be? And that’s what I get for watching Barney!
Yesterday, after it’s battery died, I misplaced my BlackBerry! I can’t say I lost it because I think, or at least I hope, it’s somewhere around here. I must say, however I did quite well without it today. I didn’t miss it at all, except for when I wanted to take photos of Pinky!
It’s amazing what smartphones can do for us nowadays. What’s even more amazing is how much we depend on them. Today, I couldn’t take pictures, set a reminder for myself to do something, check the date/time, update my FB status, look for a recipe, write an email, search for gift ideas, cancel a date, entertain Pinky with the Barney theme song, or let alone make a phone call at the touch of a button! Phew! I’ve totally become reliant on my BB! That’s just the half of it! Today I logged onto my computer for the first time in days!
Anyways, smartphones can be a blessing and a curse, just like anything else. Too much of a good thing, aint good! I had a great day with Pinky today! No interuptions, just me and my baby girl. If it weren’t for the videos and pictures I had on my BlackBerry, I wouldn’t even try looking for it! Did I mention I went over my minutes last month? Another reason why I could care less if I find it! Out of sight, out of mind! Anyway, tomorrow, I’ll be searching the car and all of Pinky’s bags for that thing! Wish me luck!

hahaha…well i agree that cell phones / smart phones have taken over our lives. if dont remind myself in my phone to do something then i will never do it and these phones are a part of our lives and we truly well i know i truly depend on them which i will admit is bad…
Hey Amber! It’s okay that we rely on our smart phones, just be sure to always back your $#&@ up! Haha! And don’t spend so much time on it that your battery dies in 2 hours! Haha! Just don’t get so caught up that you forget about the world around you! See you soon! BBM me!
